The types of balloons you want to inflate with helium
You have latex balloons also called balloons. balloon, but also mylar balloons also called foil balloons.
The answer to when to inflate helium balloons will be different depending on the model of balloon you want to inflate.
Let's start with Latex balloons!
For the latex balloons inflated with helium, their duration will depend on their size , the larger the latex balloons, the more volume of helium you will have inside your balloon and therefore the longer it will take to fall.
For 28/30 cm latex balloons their duration is around ten hours .
For some latex balloons of 60cm their duration can last up to 24 hours .
The quality of your balloons and therefore the latex also has an impact on flight time. The helium escapes through the pore of the balloon so if the quality of latex is not great the helium will escape more quickly which will reduce the flight time of your balloon.
It is advisable to always inflate your latex balloons with helium 1 to 2 hours before the event.
